James Godfrey, Head of Comms and Marketing at CareerWallet After graduating from university, James started his career in media working for some of the largest publishers in the UK, including Emap and the DMGT. He soon worked his way up to director level managing a portfolio of market-leading publications. After 10 years in traditional publishing, he decided to move to the more creative side of media and joined a large advertising agency bringing his experience and knowledge of the publishing landscape.
As the ad industry evolved and the focus shifted to digital, he moved to the more exciting and creative world of public relations. Having now worked in PR for 15 years he has been responsible for numerous high-profile consumer and business campaigns including Halifax, Hays, Honda, Dyson, Santander, Coca Cola and many others.
